I am a scientist and medical writer at Cardinal Health. In my role here, I create data-driven content for summits, prepare newsletters covering recent research, and help clients develop programs that will help them gain a deeper understanding of practicing oncologists. I also prepare abstracts, posters, and research papers using real-world data. As a team leader, I am committed to promoting diversity in communication, mentoring junior writers, protecting data integrity, and building awareness through education.
Prior to my career in medical writing, I was a postdoctoral researcher and studied the link between aging, memory, and protein degradation within the brain. Before that, while I worked on my doctorate, I studied resilience to traumatic stress; I also taught undergraduate courses in Research Methodology and Behavioral Neuroscience at the University of Tennessee.
